More than a hair removal, IPL restores radiance and softness to your skin.

People often tend to confuse pulsed light technology with laser technology. Pulsed light technology, otherwise known as IPL, uses light to prevent hair growth. Laser technology uses a high-powered beam to destroy the root.
This method is very similar to laser hair removal. Its difference is that it is equipped with an intense light that distributes treatment "flashes" instead of a laser beam. By capturing this intense light, the melanin and the pigment of the hair undergo a very important rise in temperature. This is to transmit heat to the hair bulb. It will then be treated. This method delays the regrowth and makes the existing hair fall out in a very natural way. The darker the treated hair is, the more effective and faster the result will be.
This method is really effective, it will eliminate more or less 80% of your hair.
After each treatment your hair will be even finer and above all very rare.
Be aware, however, that it will generally take until the eighth session to obtain a satisfactory result.
IPL hair removal doesn't hurt at all! You may only feel a little tingling or tickling in certain areas.
A long-term result. Count about 8 treatment sessions (several months) to obtain the long awaited result.
The results obtained with pulsed light hair removal last less time than with the laser method. Especially on sensitive areas, such as underarms or bikini line. It will be necessary to renew the treatments every 2 or even 3 years.
It is a rather delicate method especially on very pigmented skins, as they contain a lot of melanin. This technology is therefore not compatible with very dark skins, or light coloured hair.
The permanent pulse can be used in all seasons, on all skin phototypes, even the darkest (black), and all hair types, including the lightest. Be careful however: white (demelanized) hair will not be captured by light and will not benefit from IPL hair removal. It is therefore better to start your hair removal before the age of 40.
The number of sessions varies:
In general, this number of sessions removes about 90% of the hair. To achieve total hair removal, maintenance sessions should be considered: (1 to 3 sessions per year for the first few years after treatment).
The first three sessions remove about 50% of the hair. They should be spaced 4 weeks apart for the face and 6 weeks apart for the body.
All areas of the body including the face and bikini.
Thanks to the new "Permanant Pulse" hair removal technology, it takes only one week without active tanning on the area to be treated before and after the session.
It is always possible that under the influence of various factors, especially hormonal, the hair adjacent to the destroyed hairs may become thicker and darker. This can be the result of pregnancy, a change of IUD or pill, menopause, etc. In the case of a hormonal problem known or detected during the consultation, we recommend that our patients consult an endocrinologist beforehand in order to optimize the effectiveness of the treatment.
Skin abnormalities: moles, lesions, fever blisters, tattoos, pregnant women and pre-pubescent children/adolescents, as a precautionary principle, photo-sensitizing drugs, avoid the sun 72 hours before and after each treatment, as well as self-tanners.
